Can you retire from a job you don’t actually have? I suppose that’s what I’m doing. Semi-retiring, anyway.
Before I do that though, there are things to take care of. To start with there’s the current trilogy of books to wrap up. That should be done before the end of September. To bridge the gap between new books, and to give you a chance to catch up with my back catalogue on Kindle if you haven’t yet, I’ll also be running a bunch of week long sales on my previous stuff. It’s not quite a Fire Sale, but it’s the last time for a while that I’ll be reducing any of these so get them while you can.
First up, Hiram Grange and the Nymphs of Krakow for a dollar. The sale only works in the UK and US I’m afraid*, but runs for a week and then I’ll change books. Watch this space.
None of these books are going anywhere, by the way. Just because I’m not producing new stuff beyond the current trilogy doesn’t mean I’m not tending what’s there. It all still exists to be found. Later in the year all my books will relaunch on other platforms too, so if you’ve been wondering when you’ll see them back on Kobo, Nook, iBooks etc, you need wonder no more. I’d still like to see them available as audio books too – eagle-eyed types might have spotted some progress with this, but it deserves a separate announcement clear of all the freelance wrapping up. I’ll shout about it in a few days.
Other news will still appear too – while I’m not publishing anything new for the time being, there are other things to materialise from the last few months work. In particular, a certain Ms Wildthyme is due to make a return in the very near future from Obverse Books. More on that very soon.
And finally, there’s The 52 to work through. That’s going to take a little longer than everything else, but we’ll get there. I intend to enjoy it, as it could be the last stuff for a while. The first new story should be along later this week.
And that should more or less wrap all the loose ends.
