I have a new marathon strategy. It’s awesome.
On Sunday, I will run the Mumbai marathon… in the style of a montage.
There will be dramatic music! Close ups of feet pounding the street and my steely glare! Soaring, sweeping overhead shots along the miles of runners!
Best of all, it should only last ninety seconds or so. Perfect!
This’ll be a doddle.
This evening, I fly across India with the team, and check into our first Mumbai hotel (for various complicated reasons, that I wasn’t paying attention to, we’re spending tonight in one hotel and the next couple in one closer to the start line of the race). Pasta restaurants have already been identified in the surrounding area…
I just had pasta for breakfast. I have dreams about pasta, and wake up sweating and afraid.
It’s the last couple of days to help us reach 100% of our sponsorship goal (£3500). We’ve hit an amazing 83% so far, with your help. I’m honestly astonished. If you want to help nudge it up, you can do so here.
