“I had no idea she was so brand aware,” she says, glancing up from a round of Godfinger on the iPad.

He pauses the South Park episode running on the Apple TV, and picks up his Macbook, the logo shining to life as he lifts the lid.  “There could be a short blog in this…”

We are inadvertently developing some very expensive tastes in our little girl.

In other news, research on the December book progresses apace, with characters and plotlines dropping into place incredibly smoothly.  It turns out that I have most of December out of the day job.  Some of that time will be the festive jaunt to Thailand during Christmas week, but the rest is writing time.  Very excited indeed.  Two more weeks to prepare, then we’re off.  Alas, with so much of my brain in the next novel, work on the one already underway has slowed a little, but it’s a trade off I can live with.

Also, a head’s up – tomorrow, Kevin Lucia are playing about with a blog swap.  Way we see it, you’ve heard plenty about Hiram Grange and the Nymphs of Krakow, but less about his own entry in the Hiram series, Hiram Grange and the Chosen One.  Tomorrow, he’ll set that straight, while I’ll be blogging at his readers, over on his website.  Should be fun, so do pop by.
