Craven Place – launched!

September 29, 2010 by Richard Wright in Journal, News

The problem with being in India is that exciting things happen in the rest of the world when I’m still sleeping…

Welcome to the inaugural issue of Shroud DE (digital edition).  As the cover by Danny Evarts sports, this is particularly notable because it contains chapter one of my novel Craven Place, which will be serialised monthly.  Of additional note, this is a free download, a supplement packed with exclusive material, accompanying Shroud’s hardcopy edition.  Go and get it here.  Do it right now.  Did I mention that it’s free?

I mentioned this was coming a few entries ago, and it’s a delight to see it.  The chapter is the same one that’s included as a bonus at the end of Hiram Grange and the Nymphs of Krakow, but if you’ve read that already, there’s plenty more in these pixellated pages for you, including a short story from Hiram’s own corner of the universe, by Scott Christian Carr.

If you haven’t read it yet, you’ll meet Tanith Pearce, and witness her frantic flight from Craven Place in search of sanctuary.  Let me know what you think…
