Continuing the more or less monthly release schedule of the Scandalous Misadventures of Hiram Grange, which should see my own released around April, this month sees the release of Hiram Grange and the Twelve Little Hitlers by Scott Christian Carr.
It features Hiram at his lowest ebb, at the bottom of a drug and absinthe fuelled binge that puts him on the edge of sanity. There are also Hitlers, and Jodie Foster. By the end of the book, Hiram’s world changes forever.
It’s strange, blackly funny, and incredibly disorientating. It has more stunning Malcolm McClinton artwork, including the cover, and looks brilliant on a shelf next to the already released Hiram Grange and the Village of the Damned.
People have already said nice things about it. Personally speaking, I loved it, and have never read anything else quite like it.
Available from Shroud Publishing right now, and when it turns up on Amazon etc, I’ll let you know.
