Not A Tribute

March 18, 2008 by Richard Wright in Journal, Life

I was going to regale you with tales of my knee being much better, so much so that running this morning caused me no problems whatsoever (other than illustrating how very unfit I am), but then Arthur C. Clarke died, and I lost the urge. No point doing a tribute – there are probably thousands online already, with more to follow in print tomorrow – and I don’t have anything to say that’s more profound than the best of those will be. It saddens me though, very much.
