Richard Wright

author of strange, dark fictions

Nearly There

March 2, 2008 by Richard Wright in Journal, Writing

The proof of the new anthology from Shroud Publishing, Beneath The Surface, has been approved. The first printing is on order, and should arrive with the publisher, to then be shipped to the hungry public, any day now. It has my story ‘Secrets (Never Told)’ in it. ‘Nuff said.

Or, if that does not count as enough said, then hark on what author Stephen Mark Rainey, for whom I have not a little admiration, says about the book.

Beneath The Surface is loaded with powerful tales from powerful voices. From Scott William Carter’s atmospheric “Stone Creek Station” to Angeline Hawkes’s tale of cursed bones, to Richard Wright’s thoughtful “Secrets Never Told,” you will likely feel… uncomfortable… and so much happier for it.”

If you have already ordered a copy, you don’t have long to wait. If you haven’t, then why the hell not?
