Snowcase #1 – Thy Fearful Symmetry

Curious about the novel I’m seeking a home for at the moment? Want a sneak preview of the first five hundred words of Chapter One? Of course you are, and of course you do. Normally, you wouldn’t get to see this until it was sold and published, but the good folks over at Snowbooks are doing an occasional showcase of writers work, starting with the very five hundred words of Thy Fearful Symmetry mentioned above. Go and have a look. It won’t take more than a minute or two to read. Leave a comment with your quick thoughts. I’ll thank you for it.

While you’re there, if you happen to be in the mood for zombie apocalyptica (and who isn’t, eh?), consider picking up David Wellington’s sparky, intelligent Monster Island. It’s the first of a trilogy, hence a good place to start, and when you’ve read it, you won’t need me to tell you to pick up Monster Nation and the forthcoming Monster Planet too. Snowbooks are developing a nice line in bright, modern horror, which I’m looking forward to seeing on my own shelves.
