As the sale of my first novel Cuckoo winds down for the end of the month* it’s time for my second book to step up and see what it can do. Hello Thy Fearful Symmetry. You’ve got two months. Cuckoo is laughing at you from atop its zimmer frame, but don’t take any notice of that mean old book. You’re awesome. Go get some.
Effective immediately, Thy Fearful Symmetry is available for 0.99 (pence, cents, whatever, wherever). The story is set in Glasgow, and has the end of the world in it. As eerily accurate fictional foreshadowings of the end times go it’s weak on climate change, a Trump presidency, the disintegration of the European Union, millions of displaced migrants pouring into the West, religious extremism, and the rise of the super-bacterium; and big on fire raining from the sky, demons and angels walking among us, and the dead rising to rule the Earth.
Apart from that though, it’s almost completely accurate.
You can get Thy Fearful Symmetry at its new reduced price for the Kindle, Kobo, iBooks, Nook, and at Smashwords for any reading device. At just 0.99 you can afford to give it a whirl, and nobody has ever been driven into a maddened frothing frenzy by reading to the end of…no wait…actually they have. But you won’t. I’m almost sure of it.
