Welcome:

Welcome to the site. I'm a scribbler of horror and other dark fictions, and my novels and stories have been published in the UK and the US for the last fifteen years. I currently live in India, having been in Scotland for over a decade. For most of that time I've been writing one thing or another. Hopefully some of it has entertained you, or soon will. Let me know.

Kudos:

"In a genre where some of the most respected voices can't seem to get past vampires and serial killers, Wright doles out startlingly original ideas like he's throwing stones. More importantly, he's knocking us upside the head with them and making us think in a very enjoyable way." - Louis Maistros, Chiaroscuro

Thanks For All The Fish

In a couple of hours, I’ll be heading off for some intensive hotel living. While I’ll be coming home occasionally, it won’t be for more than a night or two at a time, so I may not be able to catch up with you here. On the other hand, if you’re an email correspondent, I’ll have my handheld with me, so should be able to keep in touch.

My suitcase is full to bursting with clothing and books, as it will be a couple of weeks before I pop home. I’ve no idea what the airport is going to be like, given the recent terrorist plot, but I’m prepared for madness. I’ll miss the ladies while I’m away, but not long after I get back properly, Kirsty and I have some better travel planned. A couple of nights in Brussels await us in the Autumn. The good thing about Brussels, as far as we can see, is that unlike Paris there’s pretty much nothing there. Rather than sightseeing then, we can kick back with some good beer and food, and enjoy them in gorgeous surroundings. I’m looking forward to it immensely – we do like our city breaks.

Okay, that’s me. Keep well. If you haven’t done so yet, download or buy The Flesh Remembers, and remind yourself why you’re reading me in the first place – more of that sort of thing is coming your way in the Autumn. If you really enjoy the book, why not pop into your local Amazon and leave a review? It will kill some time, and I’ll get a kick out of it when I get back.

I’m sure I’m forgetting lots of things, but that will have to do for now. So long. We’ll catch up soon.
